About

Hi, I'm Jennifer

I was born and raised in the Rockville, Maryland suburbs. Surrounded by art and a family full of scientists and doctors, I developed my scientific curiosity and joy for illustrating from a young age.

Following graduation from the University of Michigan with my B.S. in Neuroscience, I felt something was missing if art wasn’t also part of my work. I was thrilled to discover a common ground between my two interests while producing my first white board illustration video for patients with fibromuscular dysplasia. After researching and finding people just like me in the field of medical illustration, I went on to pursue my Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University.

My goal is to help to bridge the frequent disconnect between patients and clinicians through compelling imagery and clear storytelling. With this mission in mind, I am continually learning and utilizing the most innovative techniques and technology in the field. When I’m not glued to my computer, I love experimenting with new recipes and caring for my growing collection of house plants.
